These terms apply when you use Rocoto (https://www.rocoto.space), which is run by the operator of Rocoto. By creating an account you agree to them. Please also read the Privacy Policy.

Who can join

You must be at least 16 years old and give a real e-mail address that you can read. Keep your password to yourself; you are responsible for what happens under your account. One person, one account.

Your content

What you post stays yours. To run the site, you give Rocoto permission to store it, show it to other members as your settings allow, and resize or convert it (for example a picture). This permission ends when you delete the content or your account, except for copies other members made by quoting or replying, and for backups that are overwritten within about 14 days.

You promise you have the right to post what you upload.

What is not allowed

• Illegal content, threats, harassment, hate speech, or content that sexualises minors (reported to the authorities).
• Posting other people's private information, or impersonating someone.
• Spam, scams, phishing, malware, or attempts to break, overload or probe the site.
• Content that infringes copyright or other rights.
• Custom style code or uploads meant to hide content, trick people or attack their browsers.
• Creating accounts by automated means.

Moderation and ending your account

Members can block others and report content. The operator and pathway moderators may remove content, lock or delete accounts that break these terms, and will do so without notice when it is needed to protect people or the site. You can delete your account any time in Settings.

Availability and changes

Rocoto is offered as it is. It may change, be interrupted or be shut down. Nothing on Rocoto is a promise that it will always be online or that your content will never be lost, so keep your own copy of anything important.

Liability

Rocoto is not responsible for what members post. To the extent the law allows, the operator is liable only for intent and gross negligence, and for injury to life, body or health. Your legal rights as a consumer, which cannot be limited by a contract, stay as they are.

Changes to these terms

If these terms change, the date at the top changes, and for important changes members are told on the site. If you keep using Rocoto after a change, you accept it.
